Getting a cell phone eliminated my need for a watch. When my phone's off and I can't see the clock, there's either another one on the wall (i.e. being in class) or I just don't need to know what time it is (at a movie, sleeping, etc.). I'm not a big fan of having a big uncomfortable chunk of metal limiting my wrist movement.
Which is a shame, 'cuz I recently got a real nice watch as a gift, with my name engraved on the back and everything. But I'm cool with wearing it at formal occasions and such.
