The UN is allowed, and should take them in front of the council to see where their minds and intentions lie... And thats exactly what the UN's job is.. to keep the peace. And if Iran has questionable intentions with nuclear facilities, i want the UN to bring them in front of the council to see whats up. And when Iran hears that.. they say they will not just deny that and not show up to the council, they will cut off the UN inspectors from checking out the nuclear facilities which produce Uranium / Plutonium... Why would you do that unless you have something to hide?
