this happens at times, its standard, my setup does it, ur mic will have days where its real sensitive or where it picks up barely anything, i usually try turning the power supply off n then back on a few times if it dont work, leave it an hour, if it still dont work, then wait untill the next day when it does work haha

Man one time my brand new condenser straight up broke. Stopped working. I cant even remember what I did to fix it... but it works fine now.
But that muffled thing always happens to me. Obviously, what will happen is you will fix it somehow, and then never remember how, and then it will happen regularly.

uninstall your soft pre.... and your mic........... and plug it back ijn.....
follow all the samson instructions on that though... uninstall... and you should be fine..... dont mind my durninki typijng
