Ok...computer help needed

IP: 64CA 6C26

I started installing a program when my computer crashed. I had to basically shut it down manually. When I tried to re-install the program, it said that I needed to stop a previous installation first. The problem is, I don't know where or how to stop it.

ne suggestions?

yeah, but that will only work if the installation is still running in atleast the background, but if he has re-booted then chances are it wont be so therefore it wouldnt help.

try that, but if nothing is there, erm delete the folder the programmes created and all contents and delete the file you downloaded to start the install aswell, cos if it isnt there at all, it cant install. if none of them work, let me know.

Well it may work. Just need to manually uninstall anything that has to deal with limewire and its Java, then reinstall it again. To do that, go to "Add or Remove Programs", and it should have a long list of programs. Look for the Java that you said was installed by Limewire and Limewire itself. Usually, when something like that happens, it causes the program to "half install" itself. But yea, that should help. Just be careful and dont remove anything that will cause you to buy a new comp because you deleted the drivers off your computer, lol.

you only delete the drivers off the hard drive, he wouldnt need a new comp, just would have to re-install the drivers.
