Nah...You got it wrong...Israel isn't "good"...Israel is the nation of God...

God is Israel's father...And, any father protects his own.

And, if you supported someone whose father was protective, you'd be rewarded for helping them.

Make no mistake. God is still watching over Israel. And, God is real.

There's nothing vague about Jesus, nor his message.

What's vague is people's attempt to dilute it and live on their own terms.

Aren't we all guilty!

Religious prophecy could be easily predicted from obvious outcomes. With plenty of religions being around there's bound to be plenty of conflicted beliefs. And with these extremly strong religious hold over the masses, there's always going to be people who believe their religion is right and others are wrong. And with this passion that exceeds this life and influences the oppinion of who they believe God is. Religious isolation is neccecery to keep their minds from straying. There's plenty of religions who hold the same principals of christianity, but have a different prophet. Basically it's like if another person said jesus's gospel than it would be wrong. Because if that wasn't true there wouldnt be a need for religious war. In addition to the religious isolation, the bible wrote warnings of a "false" prophet and preaches damnation for anyone who doesn't follow jesus. THIS forces others to feel the same way about theirs. Even the laws of our life, the laws of our government, the morality we hold as people roots back to religion. But the existance of religion is bitter sweet. BEcause we as human beings are extremly intellegent and powerful. If we held onto our indivisual beliefs, then there's always going to be constant war. But at the same time, classifying these beliefs as a religion and not as a philosophy for human serenity, causes all this POSSIBLY unneccecary bullshit.

Tero...this prophesy caught my attention:

6. In the last days, Jerusalem would be a burden to the entire world.
Zech 12:2-3 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about... And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces.
Turn on your TV and watch the news. What nation and what city would you most likely expect to see? Israel and Jerusalem! Today, Jerusalem is a burden that causes trembling for all the nations just as God foretold. What makes this prophecy even more remarkable is that when the prophet Zechariah spoke these words around 520BC, Jerusalem lay in ruins. But God said it would become the focus of the world's attention! Today, Israel has 0.01% of the worlds population, yet 33% of the United Nations resolutions have been passed concerning her!

^^So true.

In my opinion the fact that the word is so vague creates the possibility of disbelief. Well that's obvious, but i mean if the "word" were to be explained in ultimate detail of the questions that might be asked, instead of striking fear into us by explaining how bad hell is, then we would be more willing to surrdender into the beliefs. Like I mean take someone who has the opportunity to steal a million dollars, and it would be easy. Without the religious or moral punishments, try to think of it as breaking the law. If he was SURe he would be caught he wouldn't do it in the 1st place. But since there's the doubt that the punishment would even occur he's more willing to do it. And also if he was sure of the reward of not doing it too. Since it's so unclear that weakens the hold it has on people.

i kinda like how you think...lol... i most certainly believe in God... but i am also curious as to why people do some of the things they do and how it ties in to both religion AND science... personally, i think they both work hand in hand... one can't deny that the force of nature is strong and powerful... and human nature in particular can be a dangerous thing with some people and a wonderfully amazing thing for others

And the timeth will come, when they will cry war in the name of god.

......Yeah, like that was never gonna happen..

See, I dont wanna rub dirt on things that jesus said, because I respect the guy (if he even did exist)..... But this is one of those things that anybody could say and it would just happen by chance ........whatsay.........2000 years later?

Wait though, how many Jihad's have raged on in the past 2000 years anyway..

Why is THIS time special man?

Hell I could say something like......

And the great beast will fall from the heavens obliterating all that they once knew. Destruction and terror will reign and the world will change forever on that day.

-----Am I talking about a meteor hitting the earth? A nuclear bomb? Something supernatural? Airstrikes? lmao

I'd say theres a good chance that at some point in the next few centuries, something like this will happen... Or maybe not even for another 2000 years.. Who can say really?

But at the end of the day, I've just made a prophecy based compleatly on probability..

Tell me q, what is the difference?

Co-signs w/ Q....dont feel like explainning. But there has been many Jihads thought. But im pretty sure that somewhere in the bible it says thats Christanity and our beliefs will be attack over and over again which is pretty much happening now and that Gods people would be attacked over and over again.
