Yup.. healthy food does cost more. This is one of the reasons why people in the poorer areas are overweight. Sure, some of them are fat because they eat too much, but in most the cases, the unhealthy stuff is cheaper, so they buy that instead of the stuff that is good for them. I've seen a 2 liter bottle of coke for $0.99. I bet you won't be able to get a carton of orange juice at that price except for when the expiration date is coming up.
Knowing this, hit up the Whole Foods, even if you aren't buying anything.. you'll probably see more hotter girls there than the other grocery stores

because its a small segment of a market which means it will cost more
if its healthy food its not got chemicals sprayed on it to make them grow bigger, quicker etc so they cannot produce as much for such a small price, simply if its healthy its grown in a healthy mannor so they cannnot produce as much. it costs them more to produce those costs are carried on to u the consumer |
