i really dont like that mic... i got it and it sounds the same as my computer mic... a friend of mine said that usin acid pro over cool edit could improve quality.. anyone use that or heard of the comparison

lmao not ofr nothing but cool edit (and in all fairness Audacity) both record like anus cheese compared to the other higher end recording programs.

if i recorded a song in audacity (which uses the same process as fooledit) it'd sound noticably different than the identical song in GB/Logic/everything else higher end.

Dawg I would get the Rode you can get near radio-ready quality, with a cheap ass condensor made by rode.. www.rode.com.au "rode nt1-a", for that you will also need the following:

- 2 XLR Cables
- Preamp (that can withold the power of the Rode Nt1-a, if you don't have that don't worry, you can get sumthing that doesnt withold it, like the M Audio Fast Track USB) But.. Youd also have to get an extra means of power such as the "Art Phantom III" So 1 XLR cable fits from the mic into the art phantom, and another from the output of the art phantom into the input into the pre amp in turn the pre amp's USB fit's into the computer..

that all comes up to around 200 US Dollars
