Now is a golden opportunity in Rap/hiphop...what will you do?

IP: 9B2C 9A4D

Right now, rap is a gold mine...

There's no true leader in rap right now...

And, for the most part, rap is stagnant.

Here's a chance for someone to step up and take rap to another dimension. Will that be you? Or, will you conform to what's the norm and dumb-down for money?

I see a golden opportunity here.

Now is the time to change the game.

too many people are brainwashed inta getting sumthin ta play in their stereo system when they roll around town nobody gives a fuck bout rap for the art of it...they just wanna hear sumthin catchy if someone that does have meaning in their music get signed they wont be payed attention to cuz they dont have a crunk beat behind it..how many times does common or lupe fiasco get airtime??? hardly any because their too "boring" or not "stylish" enough. its like if u want ta be a part of rap in this generation you gotta jump on the bandwagon or not get played at all

but with sales down, the band wagon isn't working. this is the best time in years for a change for the better. less sterotipical drug raps and degrading wemon songs and more story songs that actually talk about people positively... i think the best song would be dissin the sell outs that know what their doing isn't positve for their art but do it anyway cuz they want to make money. if that song was made correctly it would get air time

Rofl fuck CNN son, yeah sales are down cuz no one buys cds we just download that shit, music isnt something that can die, styles can but not one as beloved by many as hiphop, yeah we got the haters but shit, look what they said when it first came out, and its not like a factual death of hiphop could ever take place, even if the industry stopped airing the music that would make it rebound ever faster, so im looking forward to a downfall, cuz its a downfall on a trampoline thats about to jump right the fuck up, lol, really though

Ok, so Gangsta rap is dieing, good, 50 can go with it, i'd much rather listen to Lupe or Common, atleast Lupe isnt thug this and thug that, he goes to a depth of description when he rhymes that baffles me, and Common has that flow and an actual meaning to his raps, 50 just portraits something that isnt real

Yeah 50 did alot in the game, but he also has a major part in the "Death" of it, more or less, hes one of the main ones overflowing the game with negativity, or atleast he set an example, and everyone want to sell like 50 so yuo have them trying to be like 50.
