i turn on the tube see students shootin 22's on the news
confused so blue who knew kids were so able to do
be cruel nah this cant be true its true anyone who knew
students who died i shed a tear too
spit a verse if only for their memory

remember see the lives lost of the those innocent
my intent every cost every soul lost will be heaven sent
what happened to common sense tryin to prevent
types of events that leave us so tensed
should my son for defense have a gun to stop kidds lookin to vent
goin to class to make a historical dent..
has me so upset these parents i give my respect
hope i never have to deal wit news of my childs death
those words i could never ingest rather burn to the flesh
than live with my childs face tryin never to forget...


these students were studyin books to better they lives
who gave u premission say it was theytime to die
hope we can realize this real pain in our lives
at times closein my eyes I visualize how they feel inside
if i could Id hug these people wit this verse
reverse deaths curse have em alp burst up outta that hearst
it hurts it will only get worse for what its worth it works
if we take the time out and just morn togther first
so can we have moment of silence for victims of violence
carried away by them sirens mothers that cryin tryin to be definate
keep persepective so vibrant as they seen on tv loved ones deing..
i know theres nothin i can do to bring em all back
but if through rap i use this craft to spit somethin that has
the power to the lesson the pain that these parents have...
from this world that at times can make us feel so mad...
