I've been taking a look at the recent scientific studies and reports for the use of marijuana and I see that there are two reasons that it will most likely not be approved in the U.S.A. for use, either medically or free to the public as something to buy. Though of course it is widely known that it would bring our country much profit, we don't legalize it for any reason, even medical.

Why is this, one would wonder?

Well, though the drug has constantly been proven to be innocuous, that does not change the fact that it causes effects on the consumer that has downgrading health issues such as a Headache . Nausea (Doesn't matter, a lot of medicines cause Nausea), Dizziness, and affects your ability to focus on problems as much as you would be if you're not high. There is a level when you are high which is referred to, in a funny way, medically as being exactly this: *Too High*. In other words, that means people who were smoking were virtually rendered useless to the experiment because they were too stoned to complete anything they were asked to do. Which is fine, Alcohol is much worse, but we are not comparing Marijuana to Alcohol, which is an addictive substance and a world tradition, unlike marijuana.

Now, let me explain this to you, and this is truth, Cannabis can treat minor pain problems which is why the American Medical Association wants to legalize it. Our government refuses, though Cannabis can treat back pain, which is a lot better of an outlet to treat such a wide human problem than something like Oxycodene or Vicodin, two addictive and potentially dangerous substances which can kill you.

Cannabis is impossible to overdose and die on, which would leave many people prescribed the drug, overdosing, constantly. Why? They would feel like they need more to stop the pain, which would in turn raise their dependency for more of the drug substantially. This is not a reason it will not be legal.

The reason it will not be legal medically is because it's a minor pain medicine, and though it helps, legalizing it medically will leave many doctors proscribing it CONSTANTLY. Which would turn our nation into Potheads, medically, and this is in theory. The government wants a good way to make doctors think they should not prescribe it and that is why the government isn't approving our AMA's requests to do so.

Legalizing it and making it free to the public is theorized to either put Cigarettes out of business (And perhaps Alcohol), or enhance the use of Cigarettes, as many cigarette smokers who do not do research claim, cigarettes help the 'high'.

Unknowing of the effect that marijuana will have in the drug world, and no tests being made except for common evaluation to it from druggies on the street, the government would be unwilling for at least another 25 years to legalize Cannabis for public consumption, either medically or otherwise.

Oh and of course, this does NOT apply to certain states which have public initiatives and different agricultural setups, such as California, and Alaska.

I'm talking about a wide scale legalization for our country.
