Must reads for anyone who loves education and a better understanding of life, history and the universe. I am currently studing in the field of Astrobiology, and most of these books I have just read in the last few months...
Science: Astrobiology: The origin of life and the death of Darwinism Evolutionary Metamorphosis. By: Rhawn Joseph (Very fascinating and well researched I recommend it for the scholars out there) Life Everywhere, the new science of Astrobiology By: David Darling (By far my favorite book on this subject. I absolutley recommend it to everyone. It has had a true impact on my life and beliefs. A great book, for all, no matter your level of education.) Guns Germs and Steel: The fate of human societies By: Jared Diamond (A great read on a touchy topic, but what insight this book offers.. I thinks it's worth the time to read) The bride of science, romance, reason and byron's daughter By: Benjamin Wooley (Another must read, it's taken from the perspective of a female, and it's simply amazing, I will give it to my daughter when she is old enough to comprehend it.) History: The future of freedom: By: Fareed Zakarai (self explanatory tittle, it's very appropriate considering today's social and political unrest's I tend to research things before I attempt to speak or text on them) Empire By: Niall Ferguson (lessons for global power learned from the rise and fall of the British new world order, very good book. I reccomend to everyone here on RB, before posting in the discussion threads..lol) Of paradise and power By: Robert Kagan (now this is a jewel, it depicts the tensions between europe and America, unbiasly describes the views of each through the eye's of both europe and America. It's something everyone is going to make reference to when discussing the strained relations between europe and the United States.. In my mind it's a must read..) Now on to more fun reading.. Astronomy: On the shoulders of giants: the great works of physics and astronomy By: Stephen W. Hawking (an incredible presentation of some of the worlds most remarkable research and published works. I feel bleesed just to have read work by such amazing people, brilliant minds indeed) Einstiens Clocks, Poincare's Map's: Empires of time By: Peter Galison Albert Einstein, a young, obscure German physicist experimenting with measuring time using telegraph networks and with the coordination of clocks at train stations; and the renowned mathematician Henri Poincare, president of the French Bureau of Longitude, mapping time coordinates across continents. Each found that to understand the newly global world, he had to determine whether there existed a pure time in which simultaneity was absolute or whether time was relative." ^ I have to tell you, I felt very insignificant after reading this book, these men were on a level I could not attain in all my life... And then some, heavy hitter's in the field of science, wow, is all I can say. A real mind bender if your not geared for math and physics...

Dean Koontz fan here...
Amazing storyteller, sometimes replays the same ideas but believable characters and intricate plot twists make him king in my eyes Also James Patterson Jack and jill, Kiss the girls, along came a spider etc. Fucking heavyweight author

I don't know about any good novels. I don't read for pleasure. I like non fiction. I loved the the book Nelson Mandela-The Man and The Movement. It's an inspiring book. I enjoyed Monster: the autobiography of an LA gang member.
