Bringing Up an Old Topic:
Weed Should be Legal...Atleast Marijuana Now I might turn this into the religion lesson I learned today. Everything on earth that is natural, God put a purpose into. Marijuana was not originally intended to be smoked or to be used to get high off of. It is used to help people with any diseases such as cancer or AIDS. But over the years, the abuse of the gift from God made it into a smoking drug. Many people do not see that Marijuana could have a positive effect, if we use it in the correct ways.

I'm on a slow computer so I'm only gonna answer the questions I've seen:
Should College Athlete's be paid? Yes, but not millions. They should be paid(as some are) on a scholarship basis and possibly a couple extra thousand each semester. This way it can make up for the money loss due to lack of time for a job. Should Marijuana be legal? Yes. I agree with BTK though. They should tax the shit out of it. Plus, it'll give these kids less incentive to start smoking it. Most of my friends admit that they started simply out of rebellion. Was Arnold elected due to his previous fame? Somewhat yes and somewhat no. Yes, because he has a large fan base and I think a lot of people don't even care about listening to the issues. They just see a commercial or two and decide that this guy looks/acts/sounds cooler(Believe it). However, I also believe no....I mean, look at his fuckin competition...I'da voted for him. "Now... How about this for a debate? What do you think about the abortion issue? Should women remain 100% in charge of their bodies? Or, if you knock her up, should you be allowed to have some say in whether or not that child is born?" 1st question: I think it should be outlawed....there's no sense in it. For those of you who bring up the whole "What if she was raped" issue. It's a proven fact that only 3% of rape victims become pregnant and of that 3%, 65% have miscarriages. 2nd question: Yes, but abortion doesnt JUST put them in charge of their bodies, it puts them in charge of a whole other human's body. Anyone who commits abortion is commiting murder. 3rd question: Damn straight. That's just as much your kid as it is hers. Just because she has to carry it for nine months doesn't mean shit. I don't care what anyone thinks. I'll be caring for the kid after it's alive, so I should have some say on the situation. Next Debate Issue: American Hypocrisy: Truth or Foreign Lies? Yes weed should be legalized...think about it. First thing is that it would end drug dealing, well atleast with weed, and we can tax it. If it were more accessible maybe more people would use it maybe not, but either way it would be good. If more people used it then we would have more tickets and more time being served. If not then hurray for decreasing the use of a popular drug. Secondly there is a lot of commercials saying that terrorists get their money from drugs smuggling so, that would decrease their money significantly if we produced our own shit. Therefore, less money for training and weapons. Also, this is just a theory of mine, it would probably push out other drugs more because of the simple fact that it would be a leagal way of getting high versus getting another high but risking sentences.
