It depends on how far you'll go with them.

They say there was another guy he was going to eat. That wanted to be eaten. But chickened out at the last minute (he'd been basted and everything..). He just let him go.

From that, one could say he'd just accepted what he was. Found someone who was willing in a relatively rational way. And ate him making sure he was willing all the way. Remaing 'grounded' and supressing his yearnings for rationality n what not.

Rationality within irrationality? Er...
