If you have a lot of PS2 games, then you probably have a PS2 sitting around so it shouldn't be that big a deal unless it breaks or something. Ideally Sony should make PS3's be able to play PS2 games since they'd probably make more selling the older games than a whole console that would have dropped in pricing anyways.
