BLACK FLAME, you've made some big mistakes in your post.
1. I DO have a job. It's not some big show job, just shopkeeper. I get $6 (AUS) an hour, 5 hours a day, 3 days a week. Thats $90 a week. 2. I buy the commercial albums I like, but did you not see my post "BOOTLEGGING OR DOWNLOADING". It's not that hard to find a track list of an underground album, download all the tracks, and then put it on a CD. Plus if I really like it, I can easily buy it online. 3. I've been listening to rap since 1995. I never said I was some old fart from the Run DMC days. In fact, I only really started listening to diverse rap when I was 13. But how does that limit my ownership or knowledge of rap? Rap music is my hobby, and I listen to it frequently, I enjoy it, and im always on the lookout for new artists. 4. Even with my job, you do realise ONCE AGAIN that i live in australia. That means that I cant really find a big studio or supportive label (if i even had the talent) to record music. I cant afford to pay for a contract or studio time (which costs more than CD's) and i dont have the tools to effectively mix and master my music. I have a cheap ass computer microphone. If I did audio on RB, i would sound really crap. This doesnt however stop me from buyin a regular microphone, plugging it into somone elses stereo, and rapping at parties etc. I hope I cleared some stuff up. Thank You. |
