sometimes sitting inside waiting for the breath to exhale and another extended time scale where i will search but never find for all our differences some how our paths got intertwined and i need to collect for all the change that left you behind where you thought you had the easy way out but for now its one day at a time, and i know that i'll be fine , but you did things your way , the anger and the hate , i watched it til it was almost to late , it was to much for you to tolerate , a few mistakes that gave you the ammo to go after them, i watched it go down out the side of that tinted window , no more rewinding time , i'm a rice street kid , turned into a man after the results that gave me faith , to find the lord in different events, but after your done come back to where we began kids in the park , met you at the end of the , stood up for you pulled out a knife cuz some trick accused you of stealing but i woudlnt have it so i did the most i had to do and he backed off we rode off smiles on our faces we just had defeated the one thing we thought we couldnt do but now were older and your still on the path , i myself has changed and through all the angst you know where your going to go , just not with me
