i'm furious at my race

we are headed to self-destruction
only because this world is full of corruption
why can’t we realize our rarity
god didn't give me this magnificent complexion out of vanity
these different shades of brown signify our strength only in unity
separating ourselves – we are doomed to failure
watching your own peoples back is the only way they won’t nail ya

we must step up to the challenge and survive
so that thousands of years from now we’ll still be alive
as fathers, sisters, bothers
daughters, sons, and mothers.
