I dont believe there is any argument here. They are both two compleatly different mediums that work and flow in different ways. Text is something anyone can do (not nececesarily do well) but any1 with a key board and a brain can do text.
Audio however depends on a lot more then just being able to rhyme, it goes into the producing side of rap. to be considered a good audio head is saying that you have a good rapping voice (a lot of people on this site dont, not naming names), its saying that you are able to flow well with the beat and that your able to mix your voice in well with the beat. therefore, audio is a lot harder then text, you have to put in more effort to produce an audio battle over the net then you do just writing a few lines down. thats why once people get into audio, text becomes irelevant to them because they are beyond it. |
