One Eye shut...My lazy eye was trippin.....
Thought go kill dis lil man....now crazy guy is missin..//
sittin at my window...husstlers in da crib...
Situation is...I'm a 6 year old kid...dad jus came home from a bid...//
dis is how i live...sometimes i see them make their lil trade...
dope for money ...dat's how popz's get paid...//
I have no time to misbehave...cuz dad ain't pay attention...
I pick up for mom...that's without a question...//
sometimes i jus listen...look up to da ceilin...
get out dis fuckin hood...dad could stop dealin..//
now i'm jus dreamin...then i look out my window....
people shootin gunz round kidz..dis is how we live tho..//
Sometimes u gotta get low...or get hit...
people jus don't give a shit...watch ya back don't trip..//
this ain't livin good...it's jus how thingz be livin in da hood..

i hate my house...1 bedroom apartment...//
2 siblings 2 parents...dis is my lil hardship...
dis ain't da hardest...I jus dream thru da glass...//
one day i'm a make it...one day jus get up off my ass..
can't go to class...for a crook..it's too much work...//
readin no book..is gonna feed my fuckin thirst...
but that's jus a minute of how i have to live....//
so i'd rather spend my time imagining...My mindz glad to give..happy thingz..thoughtz of a way...//
da type where i get money...but most of all get away
even tho i'm here today...tomorrow is much different...//
tomorrow's another day i'm a jus wait to get to live it..
but thru my window...even tho its in da ghetto...//
