Review of Hide and Seek
IP:
When Hide and Seek first starts you see this girl and her parents in a park. This beginning lets you know that something is going to happen. A lot of Hide and Seek is like this.
With Robert Di Nerio as the father, you would expect a serious man, but the character was a little too scared for a dead cat. Hide and Seek uses a lot of reaction horror, and almost no blood or real horror. There are a few instances of blood (biggest in the beginning), so if you have a weak stomach then cover your eyes in the beginning. This reaction kind of horror is a good way to scare girls, but guys you will be bored stiff, because most guys don't get scared by reaction. Hide and Seek takes a simple concept, and really makes it interesting. With a unique twist you would never expect, this movie will keep you on your toes. If you miss a little you miss a lot in this movie, so be sure to pay attention. I must warn you though, your childhood may be scarred by this movie. Many childhood games and ideas are taken into another dimension, be warned. Story: Simple and turned complex. Many can relate. 4/5 Acting: Good acting, but fake in some parts. 3/5 Visual Effects: Not many, but the ones that were there were good. 4/5 Horror Effect: Not much on me, a lot on women. 3/5 Rate: 3.7/5 Personal Rating: 4.5/5
