I can’t imagine being focused enough
to utter a wedding vow
So far, I’m so far from being ready now
With no car, I travel down life’s road,
unable to shoulder a man’s load or a heavy child,

When I walk down memory lane, though,
I remember the pain, so touching, the thoughts come

It’s a bad habit, to still carry that baggage
But his poetry’s deep, he’s “Stillmatic”
If the chance to be with him came back, I’d still grab it
In my thoughts, I lose myself

But my road isn’t 8 miles
I can’t see the end of the end of it, through the mist
Never could, but I thought

who I’d be spending it with
Those days are gone now

Things fall apart,
and when they fell, I was weak, but I’m strong now
I don’t know how I would take it
if I saw him on the street anytime soon
I’d immediately start singing the beat of any rhyme tune,
‘cuz I’d wouldn’t know what to say,
but I’d know what to think
“Am I dreaming, or is this real life?"
I’d close my eyes and blink
And chat with the man whose influence
can still be seen in me
Still with the memories of my king in me
But those memories of him were from the past
So if I walked past, I’d say he looked familiar
So how can you love a stranger, you ask?
I don’t know, I answer
Thinking that hard can kill ya.

okay, I been workin' on this far to long. Not my normal style/structure but I was trying to capture who I was as a kid and how much I exceled from that. (I started thinkin' bout it when I said I wanted to be like Eminem as a KID)This is not my best work and Im sick of lookin' at it. Lemme know what you think..
