Walking down a city alley, kicking stones with my stride
Sirens aren't uncommon, until the light blinds your eyes
A loud bang and Im pulled aside, ears ringing, tone def
Feel breath on my neck, speckles of sweat clone death
Ringing ends, oh no... whats next, persistence of vision
Thirty frames per second, getting blindfolded and twisted
I get kicked, and go limp with cold steel on my soft skull
Crawling through the never, my nerves never felt so dull
I go numb, and grab the shag carpet feeling for objects
But I'm blinded, the world's spinning and Im inside it
I can't hide it, I'm in pain - totally sensory deprived
Then it happens, the blindfold gets removed and I see light
But am I alive? The tunnel vision races my heart and I panic
Not knowing I'm on an operating table, the tunnel goes slanted
Couldn't imagine death, it all happened so fast, no time to laugh
So with my last gasp of anestetic gas.... the light goes black.
