Cool To those who use cool edit, I got a pregunta.... ~_~

IP:

aiight, so you know that little bar thingy on the bottom of the program. That when you record, it's green and it goes up and shit. Like how much sound you gettin' off your mic. Like it has the lil dB shit. that starts from -75 and goes down to 0 (from left to right). Like my mic is not close to my computer. it's like 3-5 ft away. So I jus go on my computer, push record. And just let the mic record like while I'm silent. And that lil bar thingy goes up to -42 to -39. Like pickin' up static or w/e. I try messin' around wit my pre-amp, but even when i put both knobs all the way down, shit still goes to about -51. lol

but what I wanna know if same shit happens for you. Like when you record and then on the parts where you had no vocals, do you see like some noise there, or is the line jus straight for those parts? Iunno, like when I had my old mic, people kept sayin;' that I was gettin' too much static, and I think I prolly am jus a lil too paranoid of that mayybe. but iunno... but yea.......... lol pc
