rap is creative eXpression, you can define it however you want to but it IS a form of poetry whether you agree or not, maybe YOUR raps aren't of a more poetic nature but in general and as a whole, rap is a form of poetry...not JUST a form of poetry, but a form of poetry...so stop making it seem like it's a such a BAD thing when it's not...

Rap is not solely a form of poetry as you are trying to say it is..

You contradict yourself and dont even realise it. Your saying I'm wrong to say that rap is only related to poetry and not a form of poetry because according to yourself; rap is simply a form of poetry and cannot be anything bar poetry(THATS WHAT A GENRE IS LADY). Yet your also saying "Maybe your raps arnt more of a poetic nature'..

Rap has a close relationship, some would say has even been influenced by poetry in certain ways. But it in no way falls under a catagory of poetry..

Rap IS a genre of music.. And it IS an origional art form..
