I love this poem, cuz its so simple and I just think it paints a nice picture of the season, but i wanna hear wat y'all think.


"Are you sure?" the wind whispered to the tree.
"won't u be cold in the winter without all ur leaves?"
'I'll not be cold, I'll sleep through the storm,
til the time of renewal when new leaves are born.
No dear friend, I'll take enormous delight,
seeing the leaves and the rain and the birds take flight.
I'll watch as you take the leaves to dance
and laugh as the delicate snowflakes prance.'
"If that's how u feel I'll strip u down to the bark,
and people will see how autumn leaves its mark,
with that old tree, I'll bid u farewell and goodbye
I'll ask again next year and expect the same reply."
The wind whispered and whistled whilst weaving through the air.
While his old friend the tree simply stood there.
