No, it's before that. Even before the Model UN meeting, which is why they were on the bus in the first place.
The description we found started with the Model UN meeting. It's my belief that the episode started before then, with the Simpsons watching The 10 Commandments. Because God was telling Noah to build the ark 300 cubits in length, and he's like "EXACTLY 300 CUBITS!" So Lisa or Bart says "Wow, God is so in-your-face!" and Homer says "Yeah, he's my favorite fictional character". ^It's that last quote from Homer that we based the bet off of.
