in servitude to their white masters. Still, other blacks who did realize

they were free decided to move north. A vast majority of the remaining

blacks "worked" for their former slave owners, which amounted to nothing

mroe than slavery all over again.

Also, research shows that most violence against someone is usually

perpetrated by someone of the SAME race.

Therefore, you can't compare random acts of violence to hate crimes.

The Ku Klux Klan was a TERRORIST group formed to terrorize, and ultimately

kill black people. THat was racism and hatred at its ugliest.

What you need to realize is that Australia and America are two different

countries. We have a history that influences much of how people

believe/act today. And, unfortunately, some of those beliefs include

stereotyping, and discriminating against blacks.
