i'm a souljah by day and warrior by night/ i fight my battles fo my father da guidening light/ shit ain't right i don't even know if da nigga dat made me alive/ did he lose his way home left me alone to survive/ i wuz taught to keep my head up cuz i struggled since da day of my birth/ i'd rather be in heaven than here fo wut it's worth/ but life wuz neva promised so i stay hopin fo a better tomorrow/ make life a lil betta fo my momma cuz she feelin too much sorrow/ it kills me to see people i luv in such a mental state/ like da world has stopped spinnin and it ended no faith/
we gotta keep our head up through these times like ruff weather/ drama heavy on my heart pushin me around easier than feathers/ if i had one chance i would take advantage of the situation/ i gotta keep ma head up through these trials and tribulations/


i ain't afraid and worried bout hell cuz I already livin in it/ i've regreted many actions i've taken but i hope God's luv i'll win it/

but too many runnin around like they immortal all they practice is malice/ blasphemy to our god i've witnessed in numerous occasions/ i plan on sellin records not my soul when i'm over this probation/ i don't go to church sunday school i don't preach/ i feel like i need direction so i could be able to teach/ the kids of tomorrow tell me who will embrace them/ tell me who is goin to care ain't no way we could replace them/ i believe every body got a soul purpose in life/ until u figure yours out keep ya head up in da strife/
