Heres what you need to do...
Go to the start menu and click on "run" and type dxdiag in there. Once you're in dxdiag, go to display and it will tell you the name of your graphics chipset. Go to sound and it will tell you the name of your audio chipset. Then go on google and put the exact name of what you have in there as well as the word drivers, and look for the right drivers for them (seperately, not at the same time). I could probably give you a quick answer as to whether doing that will help or not if you tell me the name of your graphics shit and how much memory it has. If its too shit for vista, you're going to need to reformat to install windows xp.. Just put in the windows xp cd, turn off the computer, then reboot with the cd in there.
