and those rankings are end of the year rankings. not preseason. sure, preseason rankings can be based on what teams did in the past because thats the only thing the press has to go by besides pure speculation. But, the final end of season rankings are based on what a team did that particular season...please..please name me 1 or 2 teams that deserved to be in the top 25 that werent...then we can say the top 25 is bullshit.

What does it matter if the Pac 10 is a weak conference? UCLA was still a legit national championship contender either way. Just like Memphis. Actually, most sports writers had the PAC 10 as either the best or 2nd best basketball conference in america.
