Why me? Am I the only one that can see?
You’ve got a dark addiction, a silent affection
And it ain’t a surprise to me they call you a crack fiend
Nothings what it seemed, you’re wasting your funny money
But Honey, I’m love struck and your life’s stuck
If you listen closely you can hear the feet fall in the muck
I guess we’re out of luck, can’t find my footing while tripping in this acid frenzy
Can’t change what my friends see, So I guess I’ll just let it be
This flower we planted finally bloomed and out sprung a death petal
I’m cursed, and your addiction comes first
So I’m left on the back burner screaming ready to explode like a teakettle
But I guess I can’t blame you cause I’ve got an addiction too . . . You.
