This another piece I wrote soon after 9/11 I submit with all respects to race culture and religion, please do not take it in the wrong way. Just going off the emotion I had brewing inside me, as if I was the country talking for myself.

Free at last

This War you plot on me
Will not set Islam free

Senseless killing of innocent people that day
All are equal until Judgment Day

The animosity directed towards me
Only infuriates me, can’t you see

Your people, my people cannot flee
The injustice you have brought upon we

I will wage the devastations of War
Against all those who wish me to be no more

I accept all without regard to race, culture or religion
It was your inaction that has lead to my decision

Time has come for all those who seek
Destruction of me, I will not turn the other cheek

A lethal arsenal is at my disposal
I wish not, but you have refused my proposal

Deliver all terrorists within your boarders
For they are madmen not worthy of martyrs

I can take you asleep at night
My wings capable of supersonic flight

Eyes that see in the darkest of night
Raining strategic justice, showcasing my might

Listen, is that the wings of a bat, as you sit unaware of imminent attack
It’s useless looking for me I cannot be tracked

As I am gone and past
The sky lights up with anti-aircraft blasts

In your memory I will leave a pain that forever lasts
I hear the sweet voice of your women’s shrouded pasts

Telling me thank you, thank you, we are free at last...
