Holocaust Poem
IP:
Sup folks, been awhile.Tha idea behind this is I had to write sumthin for History class last yr puttin myself in tha position of a Jew durin' WWII.Hope yall enjoy it any feed< is welcome.
It’s come to my attention that the situation is beyond drastic/ The sights of this horror does more than define tragic/ I wish I was deaf, so I wouldn’t hear the screams or blasting/ Someone gets killed, they’re not worthy enough to be put in a casket/ The family has no right to bury them, or mourn through black fabrics/ And the amount of deaths is multiplying, it’s overly massive/ All you can see are piles of beaten corpses/ Germans show emotion of happiness, they don’t weep, but rejoice it/ My people need some kind of emotional and physical corroboration/ Until this is done, the Earth can’t do its proper rotation/ Our children are used as human specimen for scientific observations/ It all started because of a man who clearly lost all of his patience/ How can a nation, follow someone who practices blasphemy/ He has half of the World’s support, even the Japanese/ Every time I want to stand out my blood races, my heart fires/ Only thing holding me back is the heavy artillery and barbed wires/ They must think all Jews are like Jesus, giving us personal crucifixions/ I have a lot of things to say in objection but...who will listen? / All they want to see is me stepping on a planted land mine/ The people in that sanctimonious society can’t be part of mankind/ If we believe we have the fighting power to fight these cowards/ We can reach the top, the ‘height is ours’ but maybe Eisenhower/ Can construct another plan and lead us to freedom/ Hope it’s soon, I’m running out of wounds to bleed from/ I have many scars, both physical and mental/ The soldiers beat us everyday, and believe me they’re not gentle/ I’m writing all this down hoping someone will find this paper/ Maybe it will even be published and read 30 years later/ So all can hear the story of a girl who’s life was below 3rd rank/ Everyone can know the last days of Anne Frank* reply #1 reply #2 reply #3 Thanx for lookin,Stay ^ -Avi |
