i dunno why but everytime i blink
i see my dad, pickin up another drink
dad, your always saying your gonna quit
but why can't you ever go through with it
sometimes you make me so damn mad
and i actually wish you weren't my dad

lost your license 3 damn times from drinkin and driving
think u would learn ur lesson the first trime, but u kept striving
how am i suspose to look up to you, when ur always drunk
i'm better off by passing up as a wannabe punk

i only wish you would stop drinkin and be a real father
cause when your drunk i can't talk to you, don't even bother
but all in all i guess there ain't much that i can do
except hopefully you'll stop, and pull through
