Here's somethin' to think about:
Knock Nas, Em, and Jay off the top of the ladder.. Take some of these incredibly talented underground cats, and give them a few huge sponsors and a multi-million dollar studio for 2 or 3 years.. I bet you'd see somebody you could call "better than Nas.. or Em.. or Jay.." or whoever else's dick you may be on.. Public opinion feeds on itself, and that's why people gain the labels they have.. I can personally name a couple under-underground cats that could easily give the top dawgs a run for their money, if they had the right equipment and advertisement.. Now, most of you with talent and/or knowledge for hip-hop will probably agree with me.. for you wagon riders, don't waste your time flaming me.. I'm not saying your opinion is wrong, I'm just suggesting you broaden your outlook on rap.. That's all I gotta say.. one~ |
