^then you shouldnt have posted i happen to own a shur sm58. they are dope for handheld recording, but if saved up a bit more money you could probly buy a good cheap condensor and it would sound much better. but the condensor would need a pre amp a stand and all that shit, so if you dont have a way to save up money, go ahead and buy the sm58. it worked for me until i got my condensor
