Hip hop from the perspective of anyone who doesnt know what real hip hop sounds like is garbage. thats why so many people have the wrong impression. when people find out im an emcee they automatically say some shit like yo nigga or sum shit. im like nar man thats not my approach and i rap a few bars to them and when i see they get a shock i explain that hip hop aint all about gats and black people i rap about totally different shit and they all respect it. but on the other hand the underground has got it just as wrong. they do the flipsidee of commercialism and just appeal to one audience which doesnt work either so you gotta find a balance.
