ok lol this is going to sound hella dorky but if you look at the jaw line its def a deer because the elk jawline is more horse shaped and has larger cheek pockets.. while the deer(in the pic) has a very slender jawline... also with size comparison if it was a baby elk it would have the spots which last well into its first year... thus my conclusion it is def a deer .... and that is werd
 compare the body structure and the jawlines

Aside fomr the 6 pics I posted, I live in a state that's heavy with Deer. That, my friend...is definitely a deer. If you could see em side-by-side, you'd also see that an Elk is far taller than a deer. Godamnit..where the hell is my W-shaped Straw hat.
