Yeah, but why else would you want money? He'd say "I'd want money so I can buy stuff for myself." Then, you'd say, "Why'd you want to do that?" And he'd respond saying (probably with a different word choice) that money buys happiness. I can just see that coming from a mile (maybe even two miles) away. Word. WORD.

lol, no, definitely no shrooms. I just finally see the big picture. I'm not on anything with any religion, no kids (thought I now feel like one again), no new lover (thougt I've gotten more affections and company from females now than I've ever gotten). I just have better vision. But did you notice how we're automatically programmed to expect something outside of makes us happy?


Shrooms = from the outside. That'd be believable.
Kid = from the outside. Believable.
Lover's affection = from the outside. Believable.

Enlightenment = from the Inside. That's unbelievable?

Just the world we live in.

And the reason that I made this thread is because hopefully it'll show someone a step on a path to making their own self truely happy and actually enjoying their life, instead of being miserable and slaving their years away to please someone else.

No offense taken champ, you're just reaching for understanding. That's how the mind makes sense of things - but that's good, because at least you're making sense of things!

And I really do feel happy. I even feel good just knowing that I have a rightfully deserved smile on my face and that people can feel the glow of happiness exuding from within which makes them feel happier. Which makes me feel happier! lol.

It's a strange experience to feel what this is like. Even your voice sounds different when you're at peace, so much thicker and fuller and breathy. So much more ressonant. Slower. At rest. And people can feel it. Good ideas come to you immediately and without you conciously thinking about it. The amount of time between your first step to something, and the result of that step feels like it was done and there for you to take when ever you were ready for it. Everything just flows, without any concious thought or effort.

Strange at first, but I love it, and it seems so un-natural to do something now without it. It's like the ultimate swiss army knife.
