All I know is that in 6th grade it was a big deal to slow dance with a girl and a HUGE deal to get a kiss from a girl. But Damn at these kids

Yeah I know it isn't common for this kind of shit to happen, I'm just saying that's the reason for it. Kisses and dances or whatever aren't really a big deal, but relationships and any kind of sex should definitely be left until at least a fair bit into high school, ideally later than that. With smoking, kids are still surrounded by it, they know what it is. Of course they are gonna try it just to see what it's like. I know a lot of people who tried cigarettes once or twice and then stopped because they didn't like them and were wary of the consequences.



I'm not saying there's nothing wrong with it, I'm just saying you can't place the blame on kids because they have no idea what they are doing, they are idiots. I have a friend who is an 11 year old girl, and she doesn't know anything about anything. Kids that age aren't young anymore, they are at the stage where they want to grow up but they are retarded at being adults. I can see straight through everything she says and does, and it is completely obvious she was influenced to do those things by society, her environment and the people around her. And it might not even be the parents, because the parents have no control over what goes into their kids brains.

Technically they knew what they were doing, but they actually didn't. They probably didn't think it was even a big deal. Kids have a tiny scope of the world and things in the world, they only know what they know and they think that is all that there is because they don't know anymore. I know this because

a) I was once a kid. lol.
b) I know/have known a lot of kids.

I used to beat kids up, shatter windows, rip clothes off lunch monitors and throw them into mud, hit teachers, etc... I always knew I was doing bad things, and yes to me it wasn't a big deal, I was just being a stupid kid and making trouble. Now believe me, if I could actually find a girl that would be willing to have sex with me in the middle of any class in grade 6, I would have had sex with her. And believe me, my dad is 70, and he was as bad as me. He used to put blank bullets on the floor with pennies on top of them and stomp on them so the school would think there's a shooting happening. The list of things he did as a kid continues. And this topic right here, is a rare occurance. So don't only blame media, I guarantee the media factor plays a very small role in this.
