To the original question......
Past Tense, what is the MOS you're getting into. I don't want you to think you're going into one thing and it end up being totally different than you thought it would be. The army as a whole though isn't bad. Its a great place to get some traveling done and to be honest, its the most secure job in America right now. YOU CAN'T GET FIRED! Now, if you do some dumb shit that's illegal, you'll get kicked out.....but that's better than going to jail, right? Anyway, I can go on and on about the benefits of the army (I'm actually still in) but that would take up waaaaaaay too much time. Give me some specifics of what you want to know and I'll shoot it to you straight

oh, and just as a side note so that my comments don't get misinterpreted, i am NOT criticizing soldiers whatsoever. i have the upmost respect for every singe individual who risks their lives everyday so that i can go to college and pursue my own dreams. what i am criticizing is our country's leaders and their motives in going to war, and the mainstream American view of the war.

In the bible it talks about war and how its ok to protect yourself and your people with violence if its in a defensive way. I'm not a biblical scholar or anything, I just know its in there somewhere....lol

It's very scientific but it would need to be taken to a much further level than just protecting Israel, if we're even going to do that at all. Hell, the bible coulda been wrong if America didn't stop the Nazi's from burning the jews. Think about it, World War 2 happens and they succeed in extermination of the jew race, how would the bible be seen then? lol. Still, it's beside the point now.. This thread went wayyyy off topic.
