NIGHT VERSES DAY!

Like night verses day
Its black verses white
I thought we got over this ridiculous fight.
We think we're all tight
But we're seeing no light.

Like bounderies,
We can't see past color.
Looking at earth
Through a blind mans eyes
We're all living in lies

The bullshit of democracy
That we live by today
What do we think,
This is some game of charades
I think we're being delayed
And being turned into slaves.

We think we're all mighty.
This whole fucking disgrace of what we call society.
Unlike a piece of glass
We see nothing 'clear'
Might as well put a shield over our eyes
Cuz we ain't trying to make no ties.

It seems as though we're all in a trance
Turning in circles like some dance.
Looking at a black and white couple
As though somethings wrong
Not giving them a chance.
When we take just one glance

This is our opportunity
To overcome animosity, and gain some prosperity
To find some dignity
And maybe some integrity
So we can turn around society

Looking in a mirror,
Seeing the whole world
'Reflecting' back on you.
What exactly ya goin' do?

...this is why I want you in my crew...lol...it was good...but to be truthful..the line between poetry and rap is very thin.

enjoyed it verily! very poetic, we could do one about homophobia in the same vein, that wud be cool.

like everyone else said when i read it i was feelin a poetry type vibe, but anyway that was a pretty good drop. the vocab should be elevated a little, the wordplay was pretty good, and overall that wasnt bad, in fact, i liked readin it.
