I just heard a new single (unsure if it was before or after the black album...yet I think it is after it)by Jay-Z and correct me if I'm wrong...didn't he state he was done doing singles, retired from solo projects....then that brings up the question...is the Black Album just a hoax for money, trying to make us believe this is his last shit being sent out and he's really after our nearly 'sympathetic' or 'gracious' cash...and if so is he a genius for doing it or an asshole?

it mightve been something before the black album.. but in either case, why would he release a non-album single so early in the albums shelf life? even if the single is successful, the album wont sell cos it doesnt have that single on it.... correct me if im wrong
