Wait... first you say System of a Down sold out... (I dunno why, was it the letting of everyone download their music because they are not in it for the money but simply want people to hear their songs the way they were ment for...?) and then you say you like Slipknot? (Who clearly hasn't sold out as they bug their CD's preventing any chance of anyone sharing their files in MP3 format, thus making any one who wants to listen to them forced to buy their albums...). Ok... list of good rock... System of a Down. (They are the Public Enemy of rock.) Judas Priest. (Old fashion heavy metal.) Rolling Stones. (Old fashion rhythm and blues.) Godsmack. (I just like singing a long with them really.) Phil Collins. (He's rock. And he kicks ass.) Loudness. (One of the few Japanese heavy metal bands that are any good.) Saul Williams. (The way rock/rap should be.) Art.Official.Intelligence. (The other way rock/rap should be.) Pitchshifter. (It's mostly noise, but they aint repetitive and sell outs like Linkin Park.) Nirvana. ('Nuff said.) Rock music is strange. On one hand, it's mostly just annoying white noise. On the other hand... well... I dunno. |

Not into rock much myself anymore but if you want a band that can actually pull off rap-rock or as they call it crack-rock, then listen to twisted method. theyre from my hometown and just made it big in july of 2003. their album is definitely worth listening to. only rock band i listen to anymore and only cuz i kno them

System of a Down are dope, only album of theirs i know of is Toxicity...
I've always hated rock, but since i moved, alot of people i know, like my cousins play guitar, drums etc. Sounds alright when you come up with the right style. But rap will always be better. And Emotion theres nothing wrong with liking mroe than one type of music, plus from what i hear on the radios rap IS the most "fashionable" type of music out right now. So what the fuck are you on about saying that rock is the most popular? |
