Oh please, you people act like you've never heard of little kids carrying guns. In St. Louis you could have a little kid...I'm talkin anywhere from 5 to 8 pull a gun on you. Now granted...that was mainly on Washington Ave and anywhere in Centerview...but still...it happened.

YOu see this is why responsible gun owners are so frustrated with the idots out there that own weapons. I have had weapons of all sorts in my home, and you all know I have a young daughter. She was trainned at a very young age to understand respect and recognize what a gun is and does. Most gun owners encourage thier kids to learn about the weapon, this help nullify their natural curiousity. YOU need to teach the children, ignorace is killing these kids. Most have no ides of the destructive power a gun has. YOU can do everything to secure the weapons in YOUR home from your kids, but if you do not educate them as in this case, once they are in another place, a gun is just a shiny object to them. I do not trust other people, so I trainind and tested by daughter leaving unloaded weapons out and watching to see if she did the right thing. Video proved my theory correct, she backed away and ran down stairs to call me. I was monitoring the scence from her bedroom upstairs. Belive me, if you take a small child out and show them what a gun does to a target and how loud they are, they will never touch the thing, ever! My kid can barely stand to be in the range with me, she flinches to this day every time I pull the trigger. She will never touch a gun, and she would know what to do if one was out in the open somewhere!

Education is the key, covering it up and pretending they will never come in contac with a gun is plain stupid. Teach them, don't scold them! Fucking idiot parents...
