Mos Def barely even has an image anymore. He hasn't released anything since Black On Both Sides. He is still a dope artist, but the point is that he needs to release that sophomore effort already. Same with Pharoahe Monch. When was the last time he released something?

I'm happy that finally some talent is being put into the mainstream. I just don't want the next Black Star album to be clustered with crappy Roc appearances because, quite frankly, I don't like anyone on the Roc. Jay-Z is alright but I think that even he would be "out-of-place" on a BlackStar album.
