On a technical level this movie is something you'll never see again. Plus it's like every genre (except porn) rolled into one film. Return of the King is up for 11 Oscars and I have a feeling they're gonna sweep every category.

The only bashes I have against these movies are these: overusage of score, because there was music playing in like every second of every scene.
Drawn out ending to the third movie added 25 minutes of unnecessary stuff.

LOTR 3 was a great movie
and the other two setup the third movie nicely yea its up for like 10 or11 awards... i say it get at least half of those kinda hard to get 11 awards in a row...never know though havent seen last samurai heard it was dope though...maybe i still have a chance to see it
