Why are people talking about Outkast? They didn't win song of the year some coldplay or some shit won it. And to that BlackGranade character, Brittney doesn't do pop-rap she does pop and

50 does have a valid point about Coldplay havin the only non-hiphop song and winning. I like coldplay a lot but all their fuckin songs sound the same. I can see why he'd be upset. I thought it was fair but i also thought it coulda gone wither way. It doesnt matter if you hate 50 or whatever. The man does have a valid point. Whether I woulda cried about it is questionable. I dont think he had the category locked. But whether there was a grammy award conspiracy is also questionable. This has been seen in the past. A lot of artists get awards they shouldnt have won from the grammys.

30000% correct. And i wouldn't doubt 50 pissed the Grammy people off by saying some shit like "fuck you i aint performing shit i'm getting my award and leaving" so they just said "aight u aint gon win shit" Remember that year DMX didn't even get nominated?

I've said it before...

I'll say it again...

I respect 50's position.

Makin money, earnin...

Cool.

But his talent?

Shit.

When he can rap a song all the way through...

Without repeating a hook over and over and over again...

I'll start saying he has talent.

50's all about a hook.

Cuz he needs it.

He doesn't even have the talent to fill one whole song without repeating himself.

Peace

But see the flip site to that is, 50 can do what most 'super lyrical' emcee can't do...write a hook....thats one of the most impoart part of songwriting and 50 got that down pat..while some of the more lyrical cats go on and on in the verses and then drop the ball when it comes to a fuctional chorus that makes somebody acually want to listen to your shit..some of those cats might as well just cop a loop and rap all the way true until that shit stop and run out...and just call that shit a cipher on tape...cuz it fo damn sure ain;t no song...
