Nas was good, but he's put out some shit albums. I never liked Biggie and Pac's gangster stuff was gay. Ludacris is far far far from the best.

I'd say Immortal Technique. Even though he's new his rhymes are the deepst I've ever heard. Nas is ill but where Nas ends in his deep lyrics Technique starts.

slug is good, yes, but i think some of his stuff is weak. for example, "If I was santa clause" is a great song, but half of that is production. he's good no doubt, but i wouldn't say one of the best. eyedea... now he has a shitload of potential. amazing flow, great lyricist, also one of the best battle rappers. also, if you like those guys, have you checked out illogic or brother ali?
