In theory, the hack should not decrease activity from other parts of the site since people are only able to Chill and Taunt the rappers 25 times per day. In the battles, you have to wait for your opponent to make their move after you make yours and they have 24 hours to make it or they will lose their turn. So unless you are battling people who are online, the chances of someone spending hours at a time battling is pretty small. I would rather the battle moves be automated without user interaction, but oh well. On the other hand, it should encourage people to post more in the listed forums and also vote on battles as they get the most money for voting.
